Partner's blog UX testing

Hi,

In this blog post I would like to test out my partner's website. This is my partener website, if you can go to see it Marianna's Website .




The Homepage

 

  1.  Is the homepage pleasing to look at? The homepage is pleasent to look at because it has a good photo that my partner used on it.
  2. Does the homepage clearly show both visually and with text what the website is about (i.e represent the students progression route?)?  I think that she did not finished her website yet so I cannot see any post that represent her progression rute.
  3. Is there a navigation menu on the homepage? Yes, there is 
  4. Is the navigation menu clear and easy to use? Yes, It is all clear
  5. Are there social media links on the homepage? No
  6. Do all the menu links and social links work correctly? She do not have links 
  7. Do you have any comments or suggestions in regard to the homepage? If she want to put some links about her social media and to represent her progression rute.

 



The About & Contact Page

 

  1. Is the About page pleasing to look at? The about me page is pleasent to look at because she put a good picture and words about herself. Also, the colours that she used are very calm, so I like it.
  2. Does it contain an image or design? Yes, there is an image.
  3. Is the about me/biography well written? In my opinion is very good
  4. Does the about me/biography really tell you about the person and their work? Yes, It is 
  5. Do you have any suggestions on the about me page? She can put more words about herself.
  6. Is the contact page pleasing to look at? Yes, it is 
  7. Does it contain an image or design? No, it does not 
  8. Does the contact page work - test this and find out. Yes, it is work 
  9. Do you have any suggestions about the contact page? To put more clours.

 

 


 

The Gallery Pages

 

  1. Do all the gallery pages work? Yes
  2. Is there an introduction to the work on each gallery page? No
  3. Does all the work have titles? Yes 
  4. Are the gallery pages consistent? Yes, it is 
  5. Do the gallery pages work well and are they easy to use? Yes, it is easy 
  6. Can you go back and forth through the gallery pages easily? Yes 
  7. Is the work displayed to show it at its best? I think that if she work on it, she can make it better
  8. What suggestions do you have about the gallery pages? to remove the jpeg from each picture.

 

The Whole Site

 

  1. Is the site consistent throughout? Yes, it is 
  2. Did you find it easy to navigate and use? Yes, is easy to use it 
  3. Was it a good experience going through the site? Yes, it is because it can help me to improve mine website.
  4. What would you change if you could? To put colours in some pages.
  5. Would you recommend this site to others? If not, why not? Yes because It is nice to shaere good works.

I found some portfolio websites to help me for mine. 1. Christina Vanessa Christina is Graphic designer and visual communicator and she has an eye for aesthetics. Research-How to structure an article

 I did a research aboyut the articles. 1.On the next line  you can find a video that I watched about the structure for an article: 2.In addition I find several information on this site  Seb Seilly,2015-2020,essay/article . GENERAL INFORMATION: TITLE:  Engage the reader. Catchy. Provocative. INTRODUCTION: Introduce topic. Engages the reader further. Usually poses a question to be answered at the end of the article. MAIN BODY:   Develop ideas:E.g. Positive/Negative aspects. CONCLUSION: Give answer to previous question. Give your opinion/point of view. Take sides.  A basic structure of an article that help me a lot: • In Introduction, the journalist or the author of the article can s et the scene, to bring it to life.
