Research-How to structure an article

I did a research aboyut the articles.

1.On the next line  you can find a video that I watched about the structure for an article:

2.In addition I find several information on this site Seb Seilly,2015-2020,essay/article.

GENERAL INFORMATION:

TITLE: Engage the reader. Catchy. Provocative.

INTRODUCTION: Introduce topic. Engages the reader further. Usually poses a question to be answered at the end of the article.

MAIN BODY: Develop ideas:E.g. Positive/Negative aspects.

CONCLUSION: Give answer to previous question. Give your opinion/point of view. Take sides.

A basic structure of an article that help me a lot:

• In Introduction, the journalist or the author of the article can set the scene, to bring it to life. It will be a good idea to begin this with a question, a narrative or a description, but however he/she do it,  author need to seduce readers into your story through the first paragraph. A great tip here is that it’s often a good idea to write the opening paragraph last of all, once she or he have written the whole article. Or to write it first and then when she or he finish the whole article to go back on the first paragraph and fix it. A lot of the time, the first paragraph that we  write will turn out to be drivel, and either we’ll look at it in horror and cut it ourselves, or the editor will do it for us.

• In the body text the author should keep the readers. Each paragraph will move the story along, and add to the reader’s information. Embed facts into scenes, so that something new is revealed with every paragraph..

The author should space out the information so that everything necessary is included without disrupting her or his  narrative flow.

• In Conclusion, the journalist shoul create a satisfactory ending so that the reader understands that the story has reached a conclusion. The author have to make it bottom-heavy by cramming in information that should have been woven in higher up. Feature writing is about real life stories, and real life is complex, and does not always wrap up into a neat conclusion.

I will improve my article with all of these that I have learned from the video, ofthe sites, etc. In my opinion it is very important to have a good structure and a very good tone in the whole article because I want the targest audience to keep reading the article until the end, so these information that I have learned from all of these, I will use it on my major project that it is a news article.

  1. More of your own critical commentary would improve this blog posts. Can you identify other articles that are well structured? Add these to your blog with your own critical response. In the video, the use of language and tone is discussed. What have you learned from this, and how will you apply this to your own work? It is important to consider the target audience for your article in relation to this so ensure you have covered this in this post.
